1 - On-site survey

A skilled and trained member of our ISO 14001 Audit Engineering team will visit your site[s] to complete a compliant usage test using the latest electronic metering technologies to ascertain real-time and accurate energy consumption.
Our engineers operate and are certificated to all of the relevant and necessary standards to complete the consumption testing.
2 - Site Survey audit reporting
Following on from the site[s] visits, our consumption analysts will complete a comprehensive and accurate report covering all aspects of your business energy consumption both present and back dated 4 years. The purpose of the report is to provide HRMC with an accurate and certified usage that your business is entitled to claim under the CCL exemption scheme.
3 - What is the cost of the site survey and reporting?
Utility Relief provide the site[s] survey, the consumption analysis and full reporting writing as a FREE service. The true cost for a single site would be £1250 but as specialists we can almost guarantee a successful claim on your behalf.
4 - The value of your CCL exemption relief claim
Before submission to HMRC, a member of our compliance team will send by email a copy of the prepared submission detailing the amount of the CCL exemption relief your business is entitled to. This will be followed up by a telephone call to discuss anything further prior to HMRC submission.
5 - HMRC documentation submission
Following on from the completion of the consumption report, our team will submit all relevant documentation direct to HMRC on your behalf.
6 - Receiving your exemption relief claim
In our professional experience, the turn around time from submission to HMRC to your business receiving cleared funds is generally 30 days. This can vary due to public holidays such as Easter and Christmas
